2 things that have brought me massive amounts of joy.
MIDI
The MIDI technology is just.. so versatile. I got me started making videos, and my own UTAU covers (I have had my own Voicebank for a while now btw :>) It was invented like a 100 years ago (I looked up, 1982) and it allows you to, instead of storing a big audio file, just to store the notes being played and what instrument was used (and probably bpm).
This made a lot of sense for storage capacities back then. I still enjoy listening to MIDI files sometimes, cause it has a certain ring to it, a nostalgic tone. Using a soundfont you like can improve the quality extremely, or you keep your default one or take a lofi one delibrately, if you like the more "bad" sounds (it's not bad per se, lets say lofi)
I invite you to look for a MIDI of your favorite song (hopefully you can find one, some songs there simply wasn't a MIDI created if its a small song. Or the company making it, understandably, wants money for their work) (sadly, vanBascos Midi Search is down, but there are still a lot of places to get your MIDIs, searching for them regularly often works, or you check midi collections on archive org, or you can find a site from the 90s or 2000s who still hosts em lol)
Of course, some MIDI covers 'made history', became memes, like the ones from Joels Windows Destructions:

Soundfonts
So, the soundfont basically is the sounds the midi will use. The midi says "track 1 is a guitar", so your player (I use VLC and I have fluidsynth installed on Arch) will take a instrument from the SF marked as "Guitar"
As with Midis, there are a lot of soundfonts and sources, you can take a look at the ones I have installed here. I use FluidR3_GM currently, I think its nice overall, it sounds like Hans Zimmer himself is in my computer xD Rich, clean sounds. But without losing charm!
When listening to my Van Halen Jump MIDI, it sounded off. I think the Arachno Font sounded very nice then, cause its more chiptune like.

RCT2
Writing this, maybe it should have been an extra post. But I can do whatever I want, so....
RollerCoaster Tycoon 2!!!!!
I actually have it on Disk! Whatever version you have, I would definitely recommend getting OpenRCT2 (works on every operating system, hurray)
It has bug fixes, extra features, its rewritten, you can use assets from RCT1 if you have that... its great! and it has some fun cheats, you can disable ride limits or make guest ignore intensities!
I made my own sandbox scenario with everything unlocked and I just enjoy making and decorating my park. Death parks are fun too sometimes but its cumbersome to "repair" (close it, go to edit, open it) it if its just a launcher of a cart. I just enjoy building really elaborate rides, but you can play however you want.
OpenRCT2 even has multiplayer! WOW!

Its just a classic fun game c: A timeless classic!
(you can also make cool screenshots of the entire map in OpenRCT2!)
