What is UTAU? Well, in short, it's VOCALOID but free.

But what is UTAU/VOCALOID?? Tell us keerok!

Well, its a speech synthesizer, but for singing. A singing voice synthesizer. Someone records like every syllable that exists, and the program punches the audio files together to make it sound like singing

Through modern implementations ( OpenUTAU) and well made voicebanks, it's is way easier to learn UTAU then years back.
